Dosnon Brut "Alliae" NV is an elegantly dry Champagne, crafted with a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from the distinctive terroir of the Aube region in Champagne, France. This non-vintage "Alliae" cuvée represents Dosnon's commitment to creating Champagne that reflects the nuanced characteristics of its origins, marrying the freshness and vibrancy of Chardonnay with the structure and depth of Pinot Noir. The meticulous winemaking process, including extended lees aging, results in a Champagne that harmoniously balances complexity with drinkability, showcasing the artisanal quality Dosnon is celebrated for.

Arriving in Champagne, Davey Dosnon was impressed by Burgundy and decided to locate his wine house in Aube, 40 km from Chablis. As the taste of the wine, especially Recolte Blanche, shows, the terroir has more in common with Burgundy than Champagne. In Burgundy, Dosnon collaborates with Rossignol-Trapet, and in Champagne with Serge Mathieu and Moutard Père et Fils. The winery was founded in 2009. Dosnon owns two hectares of vineyards in Avira Lange, and in addition, he buys grapes from the 5 hectares of vineyards that are located next to his winery (therefore they have N.M. status). 50,000 bottles are produced annually. All champagne is fermented in small, previously used barriques, and then aged for 20–45 months. The habit of aging wine in barriques also comes from Burgundy.

Champagne
The Champagne region combines specific climate, soil, and topography conditions that form a unique terroir currently used by approx. 15 000 vine-growers and 300 wine houses. The region has 4 sub-regions - Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Bar. Each provides customers with a different style of sparkling wine. The dominant grapes are Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which are mainly used in Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, while Chardonnay shows excellent results in Côte des Blancs. The region is even more appealing because of the so-called "Growe's Champagne" wines, the production of which is overseen by one family from start to finish - they grow and press grapes, make wine, and bottle it in the territory of one wine house. This gives the wine a true charm, aura, and unique flavor.
