The "Pastourelle de Clerc Milon" Pauillac 2016 is a dry red wine, skillfully blended from classic Bordeaux varieties, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This second wine of Château Clerc Milon comes from the prestigious Pauillac appellation in the Bordeaux region, famed for its structured and powerful reds. The 2016 vintage benefits from the ideal climatic conditions of the year, resulting in a wine that beautifully expresses the rich terroir of Pauillac with elegance and depth.

Producer

In 1789, part of Lafite's extensive estate, Château Clerc Milon, was sold as "national property" during the Revolution. The Klertz family acquired it then and added the name to the village of Pauillac in Milos where it is located. Legendary terroir, prestigious neighbors, providential meeting: the history and success of Château Clerc Milon are summed up in these three words. The terroir is Pauillac, where some of the world's finest wines are made. Neighbors are Mouton and Lafite, excellent First Growths whose nearby vines can be seen from the Château terrace. The meeting was with Baron Philip, who acquired the then badly neglected property in 1970 and decided to restore it to classified growth status. Now, thanks to the baroness of the Philippines, Clerc Milon, one of the most appreciated castles in the Bordeaux region, can boast technical facilities and reception areas worthy of its reputation.
